◍ Aether Quantum — OSINT Globe

A spinnable 3-D globe of live, public open-source intelligence. Drag to spin · scroll to zoom · click a pin for detail. Public data only, one-way.

🧭The basics

Turn layers on and off with the chips along the bottom. Click any pin to load its detail in the right-hand panel. A layer that needs a lot of data (radar, cameras) shows a small “please wait” indicator while it loads.

⌖ Crosshair & Recenter. The crosshair marks the centre — the point “here” refers to. To aim: click an empty spot on the globe, then press ⌖ Recenter and that spot rotates to the centre. Now a Windy webcam survey or a satellite’s look-angles read from there. Only an empty-globe click sets your aim point; clicking a pin doesn’t move it.

🗂️The layers

📷Live cameras

Two sources, toggled separately:

Hover a pin for an instant live thumbnail — the quick way to read a row of cameras stacked along a highway. Click for the full snapshot and a link to the live source. Fire-cam snapshots refresh about every 30 seconds.

Cameras © their operators. Webcams powered by Windy.com.

🛰Satellite tracking

Real satellite positions, computed live in your browser from public orbital data (TLE + SGP4). Turn on the layer, then pick groups with the chips: 🛰 ISS 📻 Ham 🌦 Weather 🛰 GOES 📍 GPS 📡 GEO 🌐 Starlink — Starlink is off by default (it’s a big, fast swarm).

Click a satellite for orbit data (altitude, speed, period, inclination), look-angles from your crosshair (azimuth, elevation, above/below horizon), the next pass for low-orbit birds, and — the useful part — how to tie in: the actual frequencies to hear or work it. Geostationary birds show a dish read-out (az/el/skew), the fixed aim a satellite installer would set.

For radio operators: the amateur birds (SO-50, the AO-9x FM sats, the ISS) list uplink/downlink and tone; NOAA weather sats give the 137 MHz APT frequency for an SDR; GOES gives the HRIT downlink. The globe tells you what’s overhead and when — the card tells you how to receive it.

🔒About the data

Everything here is public and flows one way — the globe reads open sources and displays them; nothing about you is collected or sent anywhere. Feeds are cached briefly to be gentle on the sources. Data: USGS · NOAA/NWS · OpenFEMA · GDELT · Radio-Browser · hearham · ALERTCalifornia · Windy.com · CelesTrak · Safecast · Blitzortung · Natural Earth.
